ABOUT US

In 1989, a few people in Southern Illinois decided to start a club dedicated to the preservation of antique farm tractors, equipment, and stationary engines. It was decided to have a show to display and operate them so the younger generation could see, and not lose, the history of the vanishing old farming ways. A date was set, the first weekend after Labor Day, every year. The show is always just between the end of the fairs, and the start of harvest, in the Southern Illinois area. Soon it grew into one of the largest tractor shows in the area. It has been over 30 years and we are still going strong. We have a museum building on the Marion County Fairgrounds that we are constantly working to improve. One day it will house many items from the past that portray history and the farming way of life.

New members are always welcome.

Annual membership dues are $15.

Meetings are held the third Monday of the month, at 7:30pm, at the Marion County Fairgrounds.
